In My Experience......
Just over a year ago a good friend of mine gave birth to twin boys. Even though her boys are "her life" as she says, she is still battling with the physical issues that a multiple pregnancy can bring. The video journal of her decision to pursue a "Tummy Tuck" is fascinating! Follow her journey here

Fantastic Ladies!!
Recently I participated in an online cooking competition that was sponsored by the great Paula Deen and Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Because I love to cook, it was so much fun for me to create new recipes and be able to demo them for America to see. My son & I had a great time in the kitchen, he being the cameraman filming both my successes and failures! I entered the competition to win, but during the whole process gained so much more. I met many phenomenal ladies who have inspired me greatly. There are so many talented women out there that encouraged me in my endeavours, it truely was a fantastic experience. So even though I didn't "win" I gained so much more!
Below are links to some great websites that I know you will love. Remember that behind these sites are women with a passion for life and family!! Enjoy :)

Making Life A Little Easier
Todays Tip:
Submitted by Robin Moore

Just an idea for quick smoothies... I blend together a bunch of fruit, milk and whatever else I have laying around and pour them into icecube trays. Next time I make a smoothie I can toss in a few to make it cold instead of watering it down with ice. Great use of leftover smoothie mix or fruit that is about to go bad.

Are you tired of getting batter everywhere when you make pancakes? Check out this ingenius idea. Instead of throwing away your empty ketchup bottles, rinse them out really good and use them as a pancake batter dispenser! Not only can you store unused batter in the fridge, but you can be precise when making your pancakes, and create fun shapes and "pictures" for your kids!

Honoring Those Who Love the Little Ones
FACE OF MY FATHER CHILDREN'S HOME
"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name, welcomes Me"
Matthew 18v5
Who Are They?
William and Katie Cooke are the directors of the Children's Home. They have been serving in San Marcos, Mexico since 1998 and have 3 children, David, Emily, and Lane. They were sent from and are under the leadership of Clover Pass Community Church in Ketchikan, Alaska. William is pastor of the local Mexican Christian and Missionary Alliance church, the "Iglesia Peniel".
Where Are They?
San Marcos is a small town in the state of Jalisco situated about an hour and a half´s drive from Guadalajara, Mexico. The town is surrounded by corn and sugar cane fields and beautiful hills. San Marcos is known for its hand made pottery and obsidian stone work. Its clean air and small-town atmosphere make it the ideal place for a Children´s Home.
Their Mission
Face of My Father Children's Home is a Civil Association dedicated to offering orphaned, abandoned, and abused children a new life and a home in which they can thrive surrounded by love and protection.
We offer each child a new beginning, caring for their immediate physical and mental needs but also dealing with their spiritual needs. We see each child as an individual who needs personal attention and love.
Our goal is to attend to every child who enters our home with love, care, discipline, and dedication and to see these children grow into individuals who have a positive impact on their society.
